Three language international web site for BGI
BGI provides advanced sequencing and bioinformatics service solutions for its global customers in biomedical, agricultural, and environmental areas. The company has over 500 employees spread over 12 offices on five continents.
The site contains three language versions, of over 250 pages per language version. Usability and ease of navigation were crucial to ensure the maximum user experience for visitors.
Iain led development and launch of a new corporate website for BGI, helping us consolidate various other older platforms in to one new, unified portal. This website was launched to an extremely tight deadline, which would not have been possible without Iain’s flexibility and commitment to the project. The new website outperforms the older platforms we were using on all metrics, and generates a significantly increased number of sales leads for our business thanks to Iain’s concentration on SEO during the build.
